CJ serves as an LGBTQ+ Peer Navigator at Penny Lane Center, providing vital support to youth and families navigating the DCFS system within SPA 1. A committed leader at The OUTreach Center, CJ has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2018 and served as Vice President from 2022 through May 2026. While concluding his term as VP, CJ remains deeply involved in the organization’s mission, continuing his service as a key member of the Pride committee. Throughout his tenure, he has significantly strengthened the local LGBTQ+ community by overseeing impactful programs, coordinating various events, and refining organizational policies. To further his career in mental health advocacy, CJ is currently pursuing a B.A. in Psychology, bridging his extensive leadership experience with academic expertise.
