Diego Echaveste-Avila is a therapist with Penny Lane Centers in their Tailored Services for Youth (TSY) program, which focuses on supporting LGBTQIA+ foster youth. Diego brings personal experience as a queer Latin individual, and professional expertise as he holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology graduating cum laude, and a Master of Social Work; Both from California State University, Northridge. Diego is committed to creating safe, affirming, and empowering spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth and collaborates closely with families and communities to uplift queer folk and foster resilience and healing.
