Summer Davidson Gomez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She currently coordinates Penny Lane’s LGBTQ+ Programs, where she is helping to meet the needs of LGBTQ+ youth through trainings and support groups. Her own experiences, combined with raising her son as a part of an LGBTQ+ couple, have made Summer passionate about raising the standard of services and advocacy for our LGBTQ+ youth.

LGBTQ+ 101
LGBT 101 is designed to be an introductory presentation on the LGBTQ+ community. Covering the Diagram of Sex and Gender, the Transgender Experience, and findings from the Family Acceptance Project, this workshop will give you the basic knowledge needed to begin supporting those in the LGBTQ+ community – whether as a professional, a parent, or an ally.
